We see Squad 100 each year at the parade. This beautiful 1929 Plymouth brings back memories from our childhood with the roar of its engine and the sound of its horn. Whether it's reminiscent of a vehicle you once owned, or a car you played in as a child at Grandpa’s house, or simply familiar to you from the big screen, an automobile such as this is a priceless part of our American heritage, evoking memories of our collective past.
In recent years Squad 100 has started to show the signs of its age and now is in need of repairs. The Arlington Heights Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is working closely with the Arlington Heights Police Department to finalize that list of repairs and get them corrected. This is the Restore the Glory Project.
Please help us keep this iconic part of Arlington Heights history on the road, creating lasting memories for your children’s and grandchildren’s generations.
