The Winter 2009 issue of 'The Chief of Police', a publication of the National Association of Chiefs of Police has an article defining the concept of a Citizen Police Academy, and referencing our own Arlington Heights Citizen Police Academy.  The article appears on our site with permission from the editor of 'The Chief of Police' publication.

The Fall, 2010 issue of Connected, the newsletter of the Illinois Citizen Police Academy (see the link on the left) has an extensive feature article describing both the Arlington Heights CPA course and our Alumni Association, including information about our history and several photos.  Permission has been granted from the Illinois CPA to put this article on our website.
